Hermosa Beach Little League offers baseball programs for children for ages 5-16.

We will make VERY RARE exceptions, but nearly ALL players must sign up for the Division assigned to their "Little League Age"

5-6 year olds: Tball
6 -7 year olds: Rookie
7 -8 year olds: Single A
9 -10 year olds: Double A
10 year olds: Triple A
11 year olds: Triple A or Majors (see below)
12 year olds: Majors
13/14 year olds: Juniors
15/16 year olds: Seniors

*** To play Majors, a child must meet one of the following criteria:

Played Majors last season
League age 12
Already played 2 years of AAA
**ALL 11 YEAR OLDS WHO WISH TO PLAY MAJORS WILL ATTEND A MANDATORY TRYOUT IN MID-JANUARY**

Even if your child meets one or more of these criteria, they do NOT have to play Majors. In previous seasons, we had 6th graders in AAA, as well as 12 year olds kids playing AAA for a the 3rd time. All had a better experience than they probably would have had in Majors, where the kids throw the ball very hard and the Co-Play competition with other leagues is very high.
